Gold

Investment gold is physical gold of at least 995 fineness — coins and bars whose price depends on nothing but the world gold market. Jewellery finenesses like 585 and 750 do not belong here. We sell from our own stock, at live prices, with the premium over the world market stated openly. Investment gold is VAT-exempt in Estonia and across the EU. We sell on weekdays 09:00–15:00, because the price is tied to the live market and fixed the moment you order. Collect in Tallinn at C. R. Jakobsoni tn 4 (Mon–Fri 11:00–17:00), or we send it by insured courier. For a private person in Estonia, a gain on selling gold is taxable income; check the details with the Tax and Customs Board.

Coins or bars? Coins are legal tender, recognised everywhere, and easier to sell in small weights. Bars come cheaper per gram. See gold coins and gold bars.
