Silver

Investment silver is physical silver — coins and bars, usually 999 fine. The price follows silver on the world market and is live on our pages; the premium over the market price is stated, exactly as it is for gold. Unlike gold, silver is taxed in Estonia: 24% VAT is added to the price. A gain on selling silver is also taxable income for a private person in Estonia. You collect in Tallinn at C. R. Coins or bars? Silver coins are legal tender and easier to move on in small quantities. Silver bars, especially the larger weights, come cheaper per gram. See silver coins and silver bars separately.
